Key Decisions/Discussions:

 

Call Meeting to Order & Officer Reports

  • Noted that we had quorum to proceed with the meeting
  • Jeff and Bijoy seconded the meeting agenda/minutes from 2022
  • Jeff informed the board decision of HOA due increase from $300 to $450 per quarter and it will be reflect starting from Jan 2024.
  • Jeff also talked about and updated on 2024 budget, Reserve amount details, and language/collection policy aspect ongoing discussion.

Manager's Report (Eydie was not available, Jeff updated below topics)

  • Shared reminder that Next Year HOA due will be sent by MyHOA soon over mail and the first payment would be due on 01/30
  • Paypal option will be available this time and it can be used for upcoming HOA bill payments. Using Paypal will have some additional fees.

Old Business

  • Bijoy updated that board has decided not to go with Gate options and will stop the Gate aspects research/followups.

New Business

  • Jeff updated on Reserve study and 3 years commitment aspect

  • New Board Member Positions:
    • Jeff updated the term out aspects where Daniel and Jeff term getting over. Jerry (Lot 6) and Brian (Lot 5) nominated to help as new board members.
    • Jeff & Bijoy discussed to have an immediate board member meeting sync up after this meeting and share the roles and responsibilities details as needed with new board members.
  • Common area maintenance: 
    • Jeff updated that as per Terrane, it is HOA responsibility to maintain the street side and asked everyone to get quotes from their landscaper to see how much it will take overall to maintain the common area where we have got lot of weeds and some bushes, plants coming up.

Open Forum

  • About Winterization, informed that on 1st Nov mostly Austin Irrigation coming in the community. Anyone who is interested, Jeff mentioned that we can share the house number/names where we can try to get better deals etc.
